Doors Opened and Lives Changed by the Gospel in Sendai, Japan.
“Pray for the new Believers in Sendai and for the churches across Japan, and pray also for us. Delegations from four other cities—Tokyo, Hiroshima, Sapporo, and Fukuoka—came and requested Crusades during the next couple of years. I believe the Lord has opened up a door for effective ministry in that country, and we need His wisdom and His provision as we respond.” -Franklin Graham
Well-known Christian author Philip Yancey (What’s So Amazing About Grace) recently returned to Japan to visit pastors and survivors in Tohoku, and to honor the 1-year anniversary of the earthquake. Philip graciously provided CRASH Japan with an interview, in which he discussed his thoughts on the Japanese people and their response to the tragedy. He also wrote concerning his visit on his blog http://www.philipyancey.com/archives/3212
WEBSITE CONNECTING JAPANESE TO LOCAL CHURCHES
|Destruction of the tsunami and earthquake that hit Japan in March 2011.
Jesus.net Japan was originally launched to provide aid, comfort, and support to those stricken with grief and confusion from last year’s devastating earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan and resulted in a nuclear power plant accident. On the anniversary of the disasters, Jesus.net Japan has launched a series of smaller websites that serve to connect people to local churches and resources within their communities.
Premiered @ CELEBRATION OF HOPE in Sendai and seen by 12,000 people. Over the three days over 400 responded to the call to “come up out of your seats” to follow Jesus.

NEW website to introduce the JESUS NET JAPAN ministry
We believe we need to help and assist. What can we do? How can we help?
We believe Jesus Net Japan, a series of seeker-friendly web sites that lovingly lead people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and a church home in their own country, is part of the answer.
Please join us in prayer and with financial support as we extend the Kingdom of God to the people of Japan, who are dear to the heart of God, our Father, and precious to His son, Jesus Christ.
3.11 ANNIVERSARY “Hope Persists”
March 11 marks the first anniversary of one of Japan’s worst disasters in history. For most people from outside the disaster-hit Touhoku region, memories of the tragedy are fading. But for those who lost everything, for those still dealing with dislocation and the fear of radiation, the pain has never left. The future is still very uncertain for thousands of survivors and the journey of finding healing, peace and hope has only just begun. Please continue to pray for JAPAN…
